There is emerging evidence that low testosterone levels could be associated with an increased risk of diabetes, Cardiovascular disease, and musculoskeletal injury. Low testosterone is common in men after the age of 45, but can even occur in some men as young as 25 years of age.
Symptoms of low testosterone can include:
- Low sex drive
- Weak or absent erections
- Frequent urination
- Prostate abnormalities
- Mood changes
- Sleep troubles
- Changes in memory and cognition
- Weight gain
- Lack of motivation and drive
- Weakness or decreased muscular stamina
- Loss of bone and muscle mass
